The oldest residence, a half-timbered house from the beginning of the 18th century is situated between palace and church at the Fouqueplatz in the centre of Nennhausen.
It used to be the palace gardener's residence. Together with the in1735 -1737 built palace, which changed its appearance to the classicism style in 1880, ( see Palace Nennhausen ) the bordering landscaped park and the church it reflectsNennhausen's historical importance.
